  • Support start-up initiatives that have little guidance and/or funding
  • Establish consensus of mission needs among stakeholders
  • Map out a project plan and schedule of milestones for complex projects
  • Build budget justification language to achieve long-term program goals
  • Coordinate with contracting office in planning acquisitions and preparing purchasing documentation
  • Draft spend plans and budget execution roadmaps in compliance with mission priorities and department goals
  • Maintain tracking of deliverables and objectives to ensure project timeliness and financial compliance
  • Interface with support functions, inter-agency partners and contractors to ensure program readiness
  • Recommend program metrics to accurately report program success against long-term goals and targets
  • Support program office with presentations, communications, analysis and research
  • Assist with logistics of working group meetings, planning sessions, workshops and symposia to optimize communications among stakeholders
  • Present on behalf of the program, when called upon by the client, to senior management or other key entities with interest in the program status
  • Create and maintain status reports for the program manager and senior management
  • Analyze the probability of success and raise advance warning signals to assist clients to avoid future pitfalls
