Linda Perkins
Director for Strategic Integration

Linda has over 30 years of experience managing programs in the Department of Defense (DoD) and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). She has worked with research and development programs, weapon system acquisition programs, and DHS infrastructure protection and nation-wide preparedness programs. While with DoD, Linda was responsible for configuration and production management, foreign military sales, software development management, program risk assessments, and upgrade and retrofit planning. In 2003, Linda joined DHS, where she initially developed detailed program plans, budgets, and schedules for a $480M program being executed by the Protective Security Division. In 2005 she was promoted to the Assistant Budget Director for Information Analysis and Infrastructure Protection (IAIP), and later worked as the Budget Director for the Preparedness Directorate where she managed a $5B budget with 7 appropriations and approximately 48 individual programs. In 2007 Linda assisted with the establishment of the DHS Office of Health Affairs and was the Director of Budget and Finance within OHA until early 2008. Since 2008, Linda has been evaluating programs, providing strategic planning advice, and developing implementation strategies for a variety of programs within DHS. Linda holds an MBA in Finance and a BBA in International Business from The George Washington University in Washington DC.
